A Lover of Unreason: Assia Wevill, Sylvia Plath's Rival and Ted Hughes' Doomed Love by Eilat Negev and Yehuda Koren is now available in paperback by Da Capo. Amazon and Barnes and Noble say that the book ships within 24 hours.
Peter, I just finished reading Lover of Unreason. It provides a lot more insight into the triangle and Hughes's attitude towards women, making Assia Wevill's suicide wholly understandable. There is a lot of research in it I have not seen before. I recommend the book to anyone interested in this tragic story on all fronts.
