Sylvia Plath was guest managing editor the August 1953 issue of Mademoiselle. Currently on eBay, someone is auctioning this issue. The auction ends tomorrow, October 27 (Plath's birthday no less)!P.S. - it should be noted that I am not the seller and that I do not personally know the seller.

Holy crap. How much is it going for? Stupid work firewalls won't let me see it!
Hi Catty, right now it's at $36.01. The seller does not indicate at all that Plath was involved with the issue.
Sorry, it's at $41.00 now.
Oh wow. I'd love to own that copy of the 1953 issue, but I have no money allocated towards buying Plath-related (in this case, strongly related) items at the moment (if ever).
Yeah, I think I'm going to wait until the last minute on this one, just to be safe.
Do any of the Plath collections have a copy of it?
Catty - Yes, Smith College has Plath's copy of the August 1953 issue and Indiana has her papers from the internship including correspondence, schedules, etc. IU also has her 1953 calendar which I think has annotations from June about appointments - but I can't remember. They also have correspondence from that period from people like Richard Norton and others to SP. A real gold mine.
what was the final bid I wonder. anyone knows?
Yes, it went for $71.01.
